Abstract: THE INFLUENCE OF SUPPLY CHAIN SUSTAINABILITY ON BUSINESS PRACTICES
The objective of this study is to examine the influence of supply chain sustainability on business practices, focusing on its impact on environmental performance, cost savings, and brand reputation. A survey design is employed due to its effectiveness in collecting data from a large sample. Using Taro Yamane's formula, a sample size of 330 respondents is calculated to ensure statistical significance. The case study is based in Port Harcourt, focusing on a manufacturing company committed to sustainable supply chain practices. The reliability coefficient score of 0.88 confirms the survey's reliability. Findings reveal that supply chain sustainability significantly enhances business practices by improving environmental performance, reducing costs, and enhancing brand reputation. Recommendations include adopting sustainable supply chain practices and regularly monitoring their impact on business performance.
